It was based on Chinese medical wisdom gleaned from over 5000 years of practice. The idea is to increase your energy and  clear blockages so energy can flow easily through our body.  
Walking, especially if we breath slowly and deeply through out our exercise can be your meditation, your &quot;health insurance&quot; to prevent health problems and work the other areas of the nervous system that contain more neuro- transmitters than our brain- like the gut and cardiovascular system.</description>
