Why do we choose to walk for a healthy lifestyle? We know the “inner peace” walking bestows upon us as we walk outside and enjoy what nature gives to us.
Have you stopped to realize the “healthy” benefits of walking just 30 minutes daily? After reviewing the list below, I would be surprised if you and I don’t get up from our chair /sofa and look at the clock and say “for 30 minutes I’m going to go outside and walk”.

In order to stay healthy, a person does not have to run or go to a gym to have a healthy life. The secret to a healthy life is to eat healthy and move your body. That is easily accomplished by getting up and walking.
People walk for a lot of reasons. Here are some reasons I hear:
“It is peaceful”
“It is getting out in the fresh air”
“It is great exercise”
“I like to Nordic Walk for that added benefit”
“I have my greatest thoughts when I walk”
“I solve a lot of problems when I am alone & walking”
“I get to talk to my neighbors & wave when I walk”
“My head just settles down when I walk”
“I am closer to God when I walk among trees, bushers and flowers”
I heard that walking is good for a person inside and outside. I believe that walking is the “perfect” whole body exercise. Why do you walk? Let us know by commenting.
